bikefix News: SRAM XX group, Singular Cycles

While we receive press releases from a number of companies, it isn't our habit to post gear news. That said, this week has seen a number of interesting bits pop up around the Interweb. Here are a few links...

Singular Cycles coming to the US:
We've had a bit of a thing for Singular's classy-looking Swift frames for a while now... Unfurtunately, they've been largely unavailable stateside until now. As Twenty Nine Inches report, The Prairie Pedaler of Prairie DuChien Wisconsin will be the exclusive US source. They're expected to be surprisingly affordable and available in May. Only 100 are coming, so get orders in sooner rather than later...

SRAM's new XX group pics:
A new (possibly 10 speed) SRAM mountain group has been roumored to be in the works for a while now, and "spy photos" are beginning to make the rounds. Cyclingnews has the first photos I've seen, with an (old) XTR-inspired double crank, Double-Tap shifters. There's plenty of speculation still, but the group will no doubt be light and expensive- and everywhere come next summer. We'll add more info as it becomes available.
